Scott M. Yarosh, MD, received his BS degree Summa Cum Laude with a major in physiology and a minor in mathematics from the the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He then received his MD degree from University of Minnesota School of Medicine in 1986.

Post medical training has included a three year internal medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis following which he completed his Board Certification in Internal Medicine, which he has maintained since 1989.

Following three years of practicing internal medicine, Dr. Yarosh returned to the University of Minnesota to complete his training in adult psychiatry, which included treating individuals with personality disturbances as well as treating medical patients manifesting a wide array of psychiatric problems.

 
Dr. Yarosh initially became Board certified in psychiatry in 1996 and successfully recertified in 2006. He has maintained a private practice of psychiatry since 1995.

Professional interests include working with young adults and adults who have an interest in psychotherapy, treating hospital based psychiatric patients, and performing independent psychiatric examinations, which draws upon Dr. Yarosh's extensive understanding of personality traits, non-biologically mediated behavior, as well as familiarity with civil legal procedures.
